Preamp Gain, Low Cut, Phase, Phantom, Stereo Link Additional hardware is not required, making the X AIR Android® App the ideal solution for seamless remote mixing applications. You can also run the X AIR app in demo mode without connecting to your BEHRINGER X AIR series mixer. Upon opening the app, your X AIR mixer will show up as a controllable device, and will even allow you to lock your Android® device to that specific X AIR mixer. Since all BEHRINGER's X AIR mixers feature internal access points, setting up the X AIR app couldn’t be simpler – just select the X AIR network and connect your Android® device to it. The X AIR app provides the mobility to go where you need to get the most out of your system, enabling you to adjust your house mix from any seat or fine-tune monitor mixes from on-stage. Control is also provided for the 4 internal stereo effects processors – all of which feature the critically-acclaimed BEHRINGER X32 audio processing engine. The user interface is configurable for either simplified access or expert level editing (S/E), for mixing 18 input channels to 12 buses. X AIR for Android® delivers comprehensive control for the X18, XR18, XR16, and XR12 mixers. The X AIR Android® App allows you to control all mixing, processing and effects functions of BEHRINGER's X AIR digital mixer series right from your Android® tablet or smartphone. If you require more controls and options, you can use the official Behringer 'X-Air-Edit' program.3. This program can be found in the start menu on our lab computers (Start\All Programs\Behringer).

The TSG has developed a custom, simplified interface for controlling the XR18 mixer called 'Beer'. The XR18 will revert to this setting if you press the reset button for 2 seconds. Make sure the connection is set to 'DHCP'. Make sure the switch on the XR18 is set to 'ethernet'.Ĭonnect both your computer and the XR18 to a ethernet (RJ45/8p8c) wall outlet. This is not necessary for controlling the mixer, but additional functionality becomes available if you do.

The cable will also fit in the port markedĪdditionally you may want to connect the hub with the XR18 with a USB2-AB cable. Use the port that is marked 'remote' on the XR18. Preferably use a USB3 port (these ports are marked 'ss' and/or have a blue inside like the ports on the hub itself).Ĭonnect the Kensington hub to the Behringer XR18 with an ethernet (RJ45/8p8c) cable. Now connect the Kensington hub to a USB port on the computer. If it is not, use the second connection method to change the setting. Make sure the connection of the Behringer is set to 'DHCP Server'.

Here described is a connection with the Kensington UH3000-e hub. X-Air Edit connection settings when used with the Kensington UH3000-e hub.
